World Book Day Quiz

We had a fantastic afternoon taking part in the annual Kirklees World Book Day Quiz at the Huddersfield Town Hall.

Our team of four year 6 children have been reading a set of books since October and working hard to remember key details from every text. They competed against 41 other teams made up of year 5, 6,7 and 8 pupils and were pleased to come eighth in the competition. They also met the author Conrad Burdikin, listened to him performing some of his poems and had the opportunity to have a book signed
